There was certainly no lack of effort today, but we didn't get the win we probably should have got. The big learning point is about passing - we score goals by passing. When we don't pass we have some lovely runs on the ball but ultimately these break down and leave us exposed at the back. We should always score when we have 4 players attacking one defender!
Everyone must be prepared to play out of their "normal" position. We had several injuries today and everyone must be ready to fill-in if required and keep their position.
Another goal for Johan and first league goal for George!
Well done to Captain's MoM Charlie and Coaches MoM Nick for particularly good defensive work.
Training tomorrow at the Rec from 6.45pm.
We have two matches left - a tough match away to Ramsbury and the final game away to Croft. Team for Ramsbury will be posted tomorrow, everyone is invited to play at Croft.
