Final match/AGM/Next season
Our last match is at home on Sunday vs Marlborough - meet at the Rec at 9.30am for 10.00am kick off. Everyone is playing (Dom/Will A unavailable). Please let me know if anyone else is not around so we know we have a full team.
Reminder about the AGM (letter attached) - please RVSP and choose your player of the year ASAP (email response is fine).
Please wear training kit (including new black Stanno short sleeve tops) to the AGM.
No training next week due to bank holiday. We will continue to train for a few weeks depending on the boys' interest/school work/SATs etc. and hope to arrange a few friendlies. I've only had a couple of players express any interest in 6-a-side tournaments -- let me know if you want to do one.
Finally, we need to think about U12s next year. This year has been a hard one in a difficult league and I hope it hasn't depressed the boys too much. We expect to be in a lower (and much more suitable) division next year. Obviously we need to continue to have a decent sized squad to do this - please confirm that you are intending to play again next year. Give me a call if you have any questions or concerns.

Croft Results
Results from our two matches against Croft: (H) 1-9 and (A) 7-1.
We didn't play badly in either match - but as ever had a spell in both matches where we gave away several goals. Well done to Johan for scoring both goals.
Perhaps it is late in the season as the energy we put into the match has dropped significantly - we get punished when we stand and look instead of challenging for the ball.
We will be practising kicking the ball at training!

Easter fixtures
Unfortunately, we do not have enough players to play over Easter and so have cancelled the matches on 11/4 and 14/4.
