Wasps 2 - 3 Brinkworth

A good game today - we started well and dominated the first half. Two good goals from some excellent football starting from midfield and moving the ball well. Well done to Charlie and Luc for getting the goals (Luc's first for the team).

We made lots of other chances and should have sealed the game by half-time. Brinkworth came out more determined in the second half and an early goal gave them momentum. They drew level and then went ahead. Meanwhile we had a couple of excellent 1 on1 chances vs the goalie, but couldn't get the equaliser.

Once again our movement wasn't good enough - we allowed Brinkworth to play around us or get control of the ball too easily. We cannot simply watch as players run from being marked or as balls roll across the box. That said, most players worked very hard and played well today - we deserved at least a point.

MoM: Nick had a superb performance in defence in both halfs. Some good tackles and brave headers.
